PATTERN RECOGNITION
Is the old person a thief or is it just a coincidence?

Imagine a situation where you see a poor, old person near your office, wearing a different set of shoes once in a week. But you also found out that there’s always a burglary in the nearby building on the same day. Can you see a correlation between these two events? This is Pattern Recognition.

Did you know pattern recognition was the key to survival of our ancestors in ancient times? It allowed them to identify poisonous plants, distinguish predators from prey and interpret celestial events.
According to research, our brain is wired to recognize patterns. There is a pattern in everything from clapping hands to Google using pattern recognition to transcribe spoken words to written texts. Patterns increase concentration and observation skills in children. So let’s wire the thoughts of our children and channelize their energy in a pattern to develop their cognitive skills and social awareness.
